Question:
Wall air conditioner vs window?
We can't put air conditioners in our windows, building rules, written in the lease, etc. Do we have to buy an air conditioner that is specifically made for the wall sleeve or can we use the window air conditioner that we already have and just put it in the wall? The air conditioner will not stick out the end of it, but will be completely enclosed within the sleeve. thanks.
Answer:
most modern air conditioners or older for that matter are made to go in a window or wall. you should have no problem.
Thats odd to me, not allowing them in a window but allowing you to cut a hole in an exterior load bearing wall..... I don't doubt you but something just isn't right about that hu?
