Question:
I have a Sanyo air conditioning system in a 100 people cinema theater.
I have a very serious problem in the cinema, the air conditioner simply
won't stop producing cold(the temperature sensor who comes with equipment is
inefficient for the overal theater arquitecture there are some people who get more cold
than others). I need to measure the temperature in the cinema prefably in at least two
spots(using a computer with sensors?) and based on the programming(any language will do)
and the computer equipped with some relays would shut down and switch on/off the
air conditioner.
Can somebody send information on companies that have this type
of equipment avaible(off the shelf)e temperature sensor that have to stay
far away from the computer( some equipment that doesn't need calibration of
temperature sensors?).
Answer:
I suspect that your problem
is actually poor distribution of cold air and that you're probably going to
want to look into the ducting system. If all the cold air is being dumped
in one place, then you will get some seats that are too cold and some seats
that are too hot.
Contact a local commercial air conditioning contractor. He can check
the system and advise you on the best fix, which would probably be a
relatively inexpensive set of mechanical dampers that operate off of
thermostats that sense the temperature in several locations.
