I need an exhaust hose and fan for the heat exhaust on a Dryer and a
portable air conditioner. So far I cannot locate anyone who stocks such
equipment, and I have tried the obvious places like Home Depot. Can
someone suggest a supply store that would have this in the San Jose area?

My application is a portable air conditioner in a commercial office building
whose exhaust hose is only rated to lift the air up three feet. When we put
a makeshift tube 10 feet straight up it strains the exhaust motor and the
unit doesn't cool as well. We were told by the manufacturer that you can
boost the unit's ability to generate cool air by reducing the load on the
exhaust fan, and their recommendation was to use a fan at the end of the
exhaust tube
