Air conditioners are generally used until then break down. You aren't
likely to find a good used unit. Plus the unit has to be handled
carefully as it's removed, and most aren't. Your only bet is to find
someone who's adding on and upgrading and buy their unit before it's
removed. Then you have a technician carefully disconnect and seal the
unit before moving it.
