Question:
I'm in the process of buying a central air conditioning unit for my
brand new house and had a few questions regarding the various options
out there. Just to give you more context, the house is located in
Toronto, ON and it is about 3000 sq.ft
I've checked out the top 3 brands in Canada ( Carrier, Lennox, York )
they are significanly more expensive then the other brands such as
Goodman, Ducane, etc. ? Is the price difference really justified? Is
there any one brand that I should stay away from at all costs?
Answer:
stay away from at all cost, well if somone offeres you one for a
dollar, buy it no matter the brand. carrier is notorious for
propritary parts meaning no one has em but carrier dealers. lennox can
be the same way. bottom line is, picking a solid name in the industry
is a good idea, picking a good install comapany is far more important.
