Question:
Any recommendations for a really good home air conditioning
repair person or company? We've got a funny problem in our
A/C, have had Strand out several times in the past couple of
years with limited success.

I just went through some problems with my A/C and received excellent
service from Matthew Forhetz. He is a one man operation but it is old
fashioned service. I am not sure he services all areas of Austin but he
is worth the call

Avoid at all costs A+ Air and Heating. Two years ago, I had them install
a new coil. Earlier this year I started having different problems and
called them. I called and told them something was wrong and that they
had done some work for me two years ago. "Any work we did two years ago
is not now under warranty."
That was their first reaction. Not,"Oh, what is wrong." or "Let's make
an appointment and get out there." Kinda like a doctor looking at a
child in pain with a broken arm and asking about insurance first. It
happened.
A+ was taking care of my house and two apartments - they lost my
business.
