Here is a pic and info:

It is a 3 ton, 3 phase Portable air conditioner. I got it in an
auction and was told that it works great and they sold it because they
went out of business.
Make me an offer I am open to trades. I need some home AC work done
and would be willing to trade this unit for the work. (I have a new 4
ton home ac unit I need soldered and charged and some minor ductwork)
Answer:
Had a call today that I probably wont be called back on. Last trip out was
in Sept for a checkout and tune, old Trane (85) heat pump. House was being
sold, and the owners at the time just wanted to get gone. Their daughter had
been killed on the road leading in and wanted to get out of the place...cant
blame em.
So....the listing agent calls as she always does, we go out, topped it out,
sealed the plenums, and marked on the ticket, Working as well as unit can
for age, suggest strongly Replacement Unit.
Today, go out, I get hit with power bills from $200 to $500 for the past 4
months...thinking..ok...got the stat up about 90 and electrics on all the
time..check the air handler, all is ok...check the stat...69....check the
outdoor unit...no power...
Her son...pulls out in his Caddy...hes 19 BTW, and is grinnin like he owns
me...and as hes backing a grinnin, he hits the van.
I just looked at her and said...guess he aint going nowhere now eh? and put
her unit back together. Shes postal...I mean..ing mental....wants me to
fix the heat pump for free, demands that I move my van so that her baby can
get to work....and I say real nice...sure..as soon as the police reports
filed....
I gave her a quote for $5500 for a replacement unit, not including ductwork,
and suggested they call the local Trane dealer, and let them know the
estimate would be in their hands for the damage to the van Monday morning by
9am...:)
