Question:
I have a Panasonic 5,000 BTU I want to sell. We used it the first year we
were in our house and it did a great job of cooling the upstairs (1,400
square feet). Later we finished the basement and put in central air. I had
it in the bedroom window and we were easily able to sleep right next to it
without going deaf. This is an unusually quiet unit for its size. I didn't
buy it, it came with our house, so I am not sure how old it is, but I think
it was used no more than two or three years because it looks brand new.
First $280 takes it.
hot enough for you?
Answer:
I was just at Menards and they had brand new 6,000 BTU units selling
for $260. I myself just purchased a 12,000 BTU Whirlpool unit for $380.
You may want to rethink your pricing.

Just curious, but while all of you were out there looking about, did you
bother to look at the price of the same Panasonic model.
